Upholstered pelmets are great to frame a window, they add style to a room and they are often used to hide a curtain track or create the feeling of a higher, wider window.

Pelmets can be trimmed with braid or fringing to ‘dress-up’ your curtains. One of their best attributes is that they help with insulation – they prevent heat loss.

SWAGS AND TAILS: Like pelmets these dress up your window and help with the insulation. With or without trimmings these are an old favourite in traditional period homes.
VALANCES: By using different pleats and panels soft valances can give a less formal look to your window.
